+ Dean Becker is the host of Cultural Baggage (partnered with the 4:20 Drug War News Report), a widely syndicated independent radio project. Dean's intention is to illuminate all the issues surrounding the drug war, both domestically and globally. He is also a member of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP).
o Ben Scott
+ Ben Scott is the media policy chair working with Free Press, a national organization designed to increase public participation and awareness of the media and the ways that it shapes our daily lives. Free Press organized the National Conference for Media Reform in Memphis, where the Maryland Media Collective travelled to over the winter break.
o War on Torture
+ We also played a portion of the National Radio Project's radio documentary entitled the War on Torture. The documentary explores the treatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo, and elsewhere.
