That Fresh Radio Piece is a progressive & grassroots media project in College Park, MD. As a weekly digest on college radio, it attempts to present social injustices and problems as well as what people are doing in response on a grassroots level. It serves as an outlet for diverse issues, opinions, and organizations; ultimately aiming to increase awareness, inspire activism, and mobilize the community.

That Fresh Radio Piece is a weekly media project at WMUC, the oldest college radio station, which is located at the University of Maryland. It is a digest of news headlines, interviews with various leaders and activists, statistics, a media reform section, events/community plugs, and a wide selection of music. We at TFRP strive to supply an arena for critical thought and discussion, ultimately aiming to increase awareness, inspire activism, and mobilize the "glocal" community. TFRP is nothing without the input of the public it serves.
